How to cope up with rat invasion?

The main thing to know in this scenario is whether its a mouse and a rat?

taking google as the first option of rescue the difference between either is:

"When it comes to ears, mice have large, floppy ears however rats have larger ears in size compared to mice but not in respect to their body size. Mice also tend to have long, thin tails with hair but rat tails will usually be hairless and scaly."

but also who has that level of patience to notice or care??!!
because not ME

I had this encounter recently in the office!
as soon as my dad left the mouse or rat came out of its hiding place (notice the use of it because honestly if i cant distinguish between a rat or a mouse who is betting for me to do it with genders? also its not like i can speak mouse and simply ask!)

and honest to god it was HUGE and SCARY and i wanted it GONE!!!!

it ran up to me and looked at me for a minute whole and then ran away!(and this happened as soon as my dad exited the office) not because it was afraid of me or something! i think it found something more interesting than me which was a huge turn off!!
but moving on-- i dealt with it like any sane person would!

i put my feet in the air and did random blabbing out loud! but man was the "ruse" not scared (as u can see i have combined the two making it seem like a case of inter species mating but bear with me!!) it kept making scary noises

and i was left on the verge of praying and begging for dad to come back!! also i had my legs up the entire time... and yes they are paining still (i think i did a year worth of leg work!!)

i was on the verge of loosing it and start crying when the savior came back!! and as i was explaining the whole thing to dad in true my way starting with him gone and then blabbing about the matter; coming to the actual part a whole year later; he looked at me as if i had lost my marbles and indeed i had!! (kanchas anyone!!)

all in all the mouse disappeared for the entire time i stayed there with dad which was like an hour or two!! was it a phantom??

also Sarabhai vs Sarabhai is back with season 2 and man had i missed Maya!!
the serial; the best thing about Star One (apart from PKYEK)!! my dad loved it and thats saying something!!!
and while binging it on youtube did i LAUGH!!! (the show is now a hotstar original! my special thanks to the star who posted it on youtube!!)

also me lovelies tell me about your "ruse" stories and how you cope with them!!

(PS i've also had a baby one climb on my bed; under my covers 3 winters before!!)

Ta me lovelies! STAY  rad AND awesome!!!!!!

The Drawing End of a Year

It's another year; come and soon to be gone. not to be black mirror-ish but something very sinisterly fabricated all of this feels. (i just finished binge-watching the show) the way most of us feel the same thing, and then it's just its articulation on social media that manifests it and it comes true.  I read this the other day on Twitter that 'this Monday felt the most Monday-ish' and then when I thought about it did indeed feel that way. as if the feeling had just been evoked and come true.  like wishing on stars. does this writing have a mature feel to it? let be in on it in the comments if this is the type of content you'd want for future posts. I have recently come up with a weird problem. It's something related to covid. I had the asymptomatic type of it happen to me. my dad had it and then later I got the mild - a week loss of taste and then came Phantosmia! a repellingly disgusting disease... yes I asked god to give me a disease of sorts to help with my...

Chopsticks!!

in the pre dawning of my teenage years around age 9 or 10, I was a BIG BIG on chopsticks... acc to ye olde GOOGLE BABA  Chopsticks  are shaped pairs of equal-length sticks that have been used as kitchen and eating utensils in virtually all of East Asia for over four millennia. NOW, since I am a resident of South Asia and the period was pre-tech in my hands. I found about these sticks in this restaurant our family used to go to called 'HongKong' (I knoW) anyways!! this is also where I learned about Chinese Zodiac signs (I am a Rabbit) sOO I dont really remember how I came upon them because the common cutlery they used to have in this private section we used to go to was fork and spoon... but maybe it as my dad using these sticks one outing that made me want to try and learn the art... and after that, I used to ask someone to tell the waiter to get me chopsticks (cuz me shy!) and then I used to take my time with them being the still eating person with everyone waiting ...

How to Walk!!

As someone who recently became a 20-year old (yay me!!) you wud expect me to know this but noooo!! like all things in life like standing and sitting or eating... walking is also something i dont know how to do!!  while coming up for the idea of this blog I searched it on WikiHow!! and here is what i found: i mean!!!!! i just stomp my feet on the ground and hope for the best! but this is some hard core shit! also this is not just it; its also the question of: do you walk as a zig-zagging pattern? do you randomly keep your feet near one another and tread onwards? also when you see a random pattern on the ground do u follow it? also what are the hands supposed to do in this scenario? are they supposed to be: at ur side stuck swinging side by side as you go clasped at the back i mean the ways are endless!! also where are you supposed to look? on the ground or in front?? till here i think i have delved my self further into the I-don't-know-how-to-...
